PLANETRY. DESIGN OBJECTS by Marcello Pisani

Opens on April 12, the exhibition Planetary. Design objects by Marcello Pisani curated by Marco Petroni, a composite proposal that is presented for the first time in Naples at the Plart Foundation. In the multifaceted universe of the project, light represents one of the most fascinating and complex themes for designers. Marcello Pisani, architect and designer, took up this challenge by designing and creating an exciting collection of lamps and furnishing elements that combine creativity and technical rigor.

Marcello Pisani gives shape to a luminous thought that translates into objects capable of restoring light in its basic concepts, in its technical and technological aspects, but at the same time in the emotional and spiritual ones. The illuminating object becomes fertile ground for expressing the freedom and complex vision of the designer who wants to activate a poetic and light relationship with the users, aware of how light represents an indispensable element of our daily life.

Spheres, rings, profiles of human figures make up a fascinating planetarium illuminated by lamps with a strong poetic vocation together with furnishing elements such as bookcases, tables that seem to emerge from bright Mediterranean days. Pisani designs with a light hand by reading reality with curious eyes and capable of re-reading classic forms such as that of Il Duffatore di Paestum, of interpreting astral ones such as Saturn. Light naturally takes the form of objects that populate the space in a subtle, discreet way and at the same time releases an imprint, a creative and technical sign of great quality.
